I AM A HOPER, DREAMER & DOER.

I AM BOLD, BRAVE & READY.

I AM NOT DONE.

I AM RETIRED, NOT TIRED. I AM A HOPER, DREAMER & DOER. I AM BOLD, BRAVE & READY. I AM NOT DONE.

Dreams aren’t just for kids.

I guide people nearing retirement or recently retired to clarify and pursue their dreams and goals in this next season of life. My dream is to use the empowering mindfulness practices I’ve spent years learning to help you take on the resistance standing in your way of pursuing your new dreams with zest!

Risers Workshop Series

5 Workshops + 1 Retreat

The intention: We start by helping you clearly identify your goals and dreams in this phase of life. To do this, we explore your truest desires and identify the barriers that may hold you back (i.e. fears, grief, guilt, etc.).
The desired outcome:
You gain clear insights to your post retirement dreams. You clearly recognize the barriers that can distract or derail you. You leave with positive practices in place to help you take motivating steps toward your goals and proactively prevent barriers from putting out your fire.
The mindfulness practices: I guide you in personal reflection and guided imagery to help you clarify your dreams. We will also incorporate small group discussion to challenge and support one another to go deeper.

The intention: Now armed with clarity of your vision and the roadblocks to it, week 2 is all about taking an awareness inventory how and where your time and energy are focused.
The desired outcome:
You leave with deeper awareness of where your energy is being drained and a strategy for finding greater focus and fulfillment. This will include specific tools for helping you say yes to the things that fill you and no to the things that drain you.
The mindfulness practices: A guided awareness inventory.

The intention: Week 1 and 2 provides clarity of your dream and barriers and an awareness of your time/energy leaks.  Week 3 is all about finding and implementing the habits and mindsets that allow you truly take advantage of this clarity you’ve now experienced.
The desired outcome:
You leave having identified old patterns that hold you back and a set practices that you use to adopt positive, forward moving habits. Subtle interruptions in your current habits/mindset can massively shift how you take action for your dreams.
The mindfulness practices: We will use techniques from Charles Duhigg’s, “The Power of Habit” to help you align your thoughts and actions and meditation and breathing practices you can take with to practice keeping these new habits top of mind.

The intention: In week 3 you’ve implemented a new habit and created a shift in your mindset.  This week we build on that shift by connecting with your strength by remembering the best version of yourself (body, mind and spirit).
The desired outcome:
You harness the personal power that comes with leaning into the potency of who you are - and that builds self-confidence.
The mindfulness practices:  You leave your comfort zone to practice asking for what you want/need from others.  You learn the art of relaxation to  increase your well-being.

The intention: In session 5 we focus on what brings you joy and makes you want to get up in the morning.  We also focus on what makes your life meaningful.
The desired outcome:
We clarify your goals that are within reach.  We also identify the activities, events and moments that energize you and move you closer to reach your post retirement dreams.
The mindfulness practices:We address where you get stuck and practice the ‘opposite thought’ method. We use the power of your imagination, naming your skills/gifts and small group discussion.

The intention:  We revisit the themes of Identity/Energy/Attitude/Strength/Purpose to deepen your resolve to live a passionate life at any age.  Your perspective expands on who you become in your next season.
The desired outcome:
You create a plan for how you spend your time and energy.  You evaluate your weekly activities to discern any changes you will take to align your schedule with your purpose.
The mindfulness practices: We utilize movement to increase our positive energy ~  integrating mind, body and spirit. We use the power of ‘strategic’ questioning to go deeper into what you really want to do in your post- retirement years. We revisit other mindfulness practices to imprint what you learned from earlier sessions. We use the power of imagination to vision your life a year from now and then we plan what you will do tomorrow.
